I am going with a group of 20 people (who I don't know) for a month to do an internship in finance in New York this summer. The problem is, I have some friends who are travelling round Thailand at the same time. I am starting to feel as though I should be spending my summer travelling and partying rather than working, and should have gone to Thailand instead. As a result, I am feeling less and less excited about New York. If anyone has any advice for how to cheer myself up I would really appreciate it.
