Hello all...

Just wondering what paperwork people have received from Bournemouth University so far... (Just so I can see what's not arrived, or what I've probably mislaid!) Seems like with only four weeks remaining, not much information has been sent out yet, and all the stuff I've looked at was found by me after a fair bit of searching around on t'Internet...

I'm not waiting for any A-Level/BTEC results as I'm a 'mature' student who was - somehow! - offered an unconditional place; all I've had (or all I can find in my folder at least!) from BU is a couple of letters confirming the place - as I'm in a Unite hall, all the accommodation info has come from Unite rather than the university itself...

Anyway, just want to put my mind at rest tbh that I haven't lost stuff... which would be a not brilliant start!

So far by post I've received the two letters of offer (conditional and later unconditional) and the student handbook.

Have they sent you your username and password to access myBU yet?

Another look through and it was only the unconditional offer that I've received (for some reason I got the same letter twice). I haven't received the student handbook yet - when did you get it?

Thanks for that - when I had a look last time (was a while ago now though) I could only find last year's handbook. With the username and password for myBU, I must admit, I'm not expecting it until enrolment because in other places I've gone to that's when it's been given (and even then, sometimes not until a month afterwards!), which is a little annoying as I've been looking stuff up (a mixture of boredom and excitement!) there are some stuff hidden behind the password wall, such as reading lists etc. that would be useful to know about, but they don't seem to want to tell us until we get there!

Well, the Student Handbook, the SUBU Handbook, and details for my myBU logon info arrived this morning, which was quite good really

Did the registration online, but can't seem to get to log on again afterwards - I think there might be a server glitch from the messages I'm getting so I'll try again later...

2 Minutes after I posted the last comment - mr postman came with my welcome pack! Yeaaah!

I got my welcome pack this morning too.

I registered through the bounremouth.ac.uk/register portal - but it doesn't have any of my details. I try to click on 'timetable' and it says I'm not enrolled. Will that not change now until I physically go down and enroll on (in my case) 26th Sept?

im having the same problem, its saying my username or password is incorrect and also wont let me change my password either.....

Right - I'm now in after having that problem; I had to ring their IT helpdesk and get them to reset the password.

Having done that though, there isn't actually that much behind the password wall relevant to me... ah well!

i can login into some of the things now aswell, only really wanted to see my time table which still wont come up.
