Q for current King's College students only

Hi guys,

Today i've received an email from King's IT department saying something about a new email or new server - I didn't quite get what the email was about - it simply asked me to activate my new email which I did. After activating it, I can't log in to my email anywhere. Does anybody know whats happened, I think they're making these changes for all students, do I have to wait or what?

P.S. the email mentioned that this is the last time I will be notified of the changes - hence why I rushed to activate the account - but this was actually the first time I ever got information about these changes.

Any help is much appreciated

Have you tried logging in using the 1st option here? http://www.kcl.ac.uk/it/owa.aspx

If you are a new student or if your mailbox has recently been migrated to the new email service, access your email using Outlook Web App. Your Windows Live ID (username) for this new email service is your King's username plus @kcl.ac.uk as in the example [email protected]

Yeah they're changing all of our accounts over so your ones are going to start off from the new system but since they haven't even finished moving them all i'm guessing there are bound to be a few glitches here and there, if you've activated i'd just try any links you can find to login and if not just wait a bit for them to iron it all out!
After I activated mine I couldn't log in that night, next day it worked fine though
