I'm applying here! Does anyone know how graduates score? Is A-Levels taken into account? Any help appreciated! And good luck to everyone applying :biggrin:

As far as I know they don't really look at AS grades at all.
They look at your GCSE's and Predictions.

How is leeds towards international students? (im living in Canada and finished highschool this last year, currently in first year at university) Do they tend to accept students out of highschool?

Do you by any chance know how Leeds mark your academics? It's out of 16 but how do you know what points you'll get?

I don't know how, there was a lot of speculation last year on the 2011 applicant thread.
The only thing we can think of was that they score grades for certain GCSE's e.g. english, science etc etc.

But we still don't know how it would work properly.

I just know that I got 9/16 with 2A* 1A 6B and 1C at GCSE, other people scored the same as me with better GCSE's .

And of course having A level grades in hand can get up to two bonus points.

I'm really hoping for 11/16 this year and the rest from my PS to get my 39.

I got 33 last year so I need 4 from 6 possible from my PS.

It's a big risk, but I really love Leeds.
It's my riskiest one.

In your PS did you write much about academic subjects? I remember from open day they were keen for you to show you enjoyed your subjects/medicine as an academic subject. I am at 4000 characters now and struggling to fit that in. :eek:
