    Dom Joly
Funny guy or irritating self publicist whose career was over years ago? And what about him becoming a twitter avenger; deciding a poor taste gag was a death threat to his children? Oh and enjoying the publicity that came with it.

His hidden camera stuff is so funny. No idea about the guy himself.

He seems something of an arse personally, but I still love Trigger Happy TV. I have a very simplistic sense of humour (although, to be fair, some of it is really interesting/funny in a sociological sense).

Trigger Happy TV was alright back in the day, but...

Now I just find him irritating. He has a grumpy face!

The more I hear about the case of him going for the jugular over someone posting about his children (who he allows to be photographed in articles he writes for money), the more I think he's a vindictive bully. I hear people in the village he lives in can't stand him and have modified his front gate.

Might be something to do with this.

You may be right! Not even slightly funny if you live near the tos.ser.

I've looked at his stuff on youtube and other than his giant phone gag (I laughed once), it's all a bit samey. That's probably why he's been on "I'm a Celebrity Please Stab Me in the Face" and any other crap he can put his ugly mug on.

Of course I don't know him personally, but all his TV series have been great and his book was very funny too.

Strange - I never think of these people who become suddenly famous and then disappear again as still having lives. It must be difficult to deal with no one caring about you anymore, after being everywhere. That said, he seems to have done alright for himself, judging by the school.
