Re: am i right in thinking thatwell on the sorry we missed you card it says(Original post by PraxxtorCruel)
What do you mean royal mail tracked? What is that, first class recorded?
royal mail tracked (its under special delivery on the red card) -
Re: am i right in thinking thatah right ok, thanks(Original post by angelbones)
I don't think so, no. Tracked mail normally means that they keep a record of where it is at any one time (so if it's being sorted, you can use the Royal Mail post tracker on their website to check whether it's been processed and sent out yet or not).
is it different from just standard delivery? -
Re: am i right in thinking that
No, it doesn't. It can be tracked and signed for, but it should say on the card if you have to sign for it.
I've had a load of parcels recently that have been tracked and only two of them were also to sign for, one of which I missed and got left a card, and it had both 'royal mail tracked' and 'signed for' ticked on it. -

ah right ok, thanks

Tracked would normally be for...important-ish things, e.g. I used it when sending a formal complaint letter so that there'd be evidence that it was sent and they did receive it.
Special delivery is valuable stuff, normally, and standard is just normal things like cards. -
Re: am i right in thinking thatah right thanks, signed for isnt ticked, just 'its too large' is ticked(Original post by heidigirl)
