Do you do A level Maths? Just wondering how much it will matter that I don't!

Looks pretty decent! Although the building looks a little dilapidated. But I'm not really bothered about that

In truth, Birmingham is a bit of a back up choice for me. However, I do like the place somewhat. After all it's an easily accessible place for me from Worcester and it's got a lot of cool stuff to do there (love Music myself so it's in a great location).

I figured - why not?

Yes I do a level maths and to be honest I think it is really important when applying for any uni economics degree, maths or stats I believe but you still have a chance if u don't do maths it is just that people with maths have an advantage so to say

Does anyone know when whether or not the university is known for giving out offers somewhat early?

I am not aware of this really and I don't really know to be honest! Although I would like to. For what it's worth, no one at my school has had an offer from the university of Birmingham yet.

Yes I'm quite worried about it really, I didn't know I wanted to do economics at uni so I didn't take maths, so I've taken on AS maths this year along with my A2s so hopefully it won't matter too much as long as my grades are good. What are your other unis?

Ahright, I've applied to sheffield, newcastle, nottingham and oxford(for ppe).

I'm doing economics, english lit and french and just started maths. I suppose if it stops me getting any offers I can just carry on at sixth form til i've finished A2 aswell and try again next year!

Might see you at Bham then, good luck!
