Which dress to pick? Need some quick fashion advice!
I have a choice of two dresses that I want to buy, they're both the same style but different patterns/colours. I have issues with both patterns and colours.
I like both of them but which one do you reckon looks better in general and will be more slimming?

    Dress 1

My issue with this dress is that polka dots may not be very slimming at all. I haven't really tried polka dot before so I'm not sure.

    Dress 2

My issue with this dress is the colour, will it suit my brown skin? (I'm of Indian origin)

I don't think either of those dresses will look particularly slimming, unless belted, due to the cut.. I prefer the polka dot one though.

got to say, they both look unflattering, but if you have to pick one, i'd say the first one is much nicer with brown skin.

I don't really like either. They don't look very flattering, certainly not slimming and it kind of looks like the model forgot to put on trousers. I much prefer the red one though.

Yeah I know the cut isn't very slimming but I'm not sure if polka dot makes you look bigger? Because in the photos, the model with the polka dot dress looks a lot bigger than she actually is. Or maybe it's the angle of the camera.

The model has her hand on her waist for the brown one, so it makes it look less like a sack. If it's belted it would look a lot better.. But then a belt might clash oddly with the neckline

In my view dresses that drop straight down from the bust are the exact opposite of slimming, sorry to be rude but they make even seriously skinny people look kinda pregnant

I'd say the second one is nicer, i'm not keen on the spots in the first one, it could work with brown skin, the model wearing it is pretty dark skinned and it looks fine.

They're both nice but maybe add a tan belt to the second one and, hey presto, beautiful outfit!

If you have amazing legs this wouldn't be that unflattering because people would judge your weight from your legs, in which case I'd go for the red one.. But otherwise, I'd say neither.

The second one is nicer, but it definitely needs a belt. Even the tiniest of frames will have inches added on by shapeless outfits like that.

The red one is nice. But I don't think it needs a belt, the dress is supposed to look like that. If you are slim and have nice legs it will look great!

The red one looks very classy. Plus, I can totally see it suiting darker skin tones, so don't worry about that.
Add dangly earrings to it and you get a gorgeous outfit.
