Theory Test Technical Problems...
Heya - I have just taken my driving theory test, and whilst I got nearly full marks on the multiple choice - I got only 42 on the hazard perception (44 needed to pass). Every time I have ever practised I have got 60-70. The problem this time? The screen froze on 5 occasions, and then proceeded to play far too fast. I have heard from friends that similar events had occurred. I made a complaint and the DSA effectively said "tough!" This means I will be paying another £31 for their errors...
Has anyone else had similar experiences? -
Re: Theory Test Technical Problems...What!? They can't just say tough. You should maybe get legal advice. But then again, a lawyer will cost more than another test.(Original post by oggdeferrer)

Did you call your driving theory place up and explain to them what the problem was?
If it was me and the video froze 1 time, I would have walked out and told them instantly.
Sorry to hear about what happened with you though!

Re: Theory Test Technical Problems...
If there is any kind of technical issue with either the theory or the hazard perception test, bring it to the attention of the invigilator immediately by raising your hand (I think this is the correct way). Make a fuss and do not leave the test centre until they acknowledge the problem. Get it in writing. Once you are out of the building you have no recourse.
They will try to convince you that you need to complain to the DVLA. Whilst this is true you need proof from them that there has been a problem so get it before you leave. Worst case, get proof that you have brought the problem to their attention at the time.
