Cheers mate.

Through a curious set of circumstances, I'm actually in my 2nd year of deferral! I went to Leeds in September 2010 to study Psychology; after freshers week I suddenly found myself in a dire financial situation which meant I had no choice but to defer and work for the year. It was originally planned that I would rejoin this academic year but I wanted to change my course and Leeds told me I would have to come in 2012 if I wanted to do International Relations, which I did. Besides, it means I get another year's worth of savings so it's a lot better for me.

Leeds were fantastic throughout it all, very understanding and I can't wait to get back there and get stuck in.

Ah, just read my previous post in this thread (two posts up) and you'll see my situation. I already have my grades (AAB) and in a way it's just a course transfer within Leeds uni.

Did you say Aberstwyth only want you to have a B as one A level ? And have you been to an open day, if so what did you make of it, as i also applied there, but not too sure about the area itself, due to apparently in the middle of nowhere ?

well the offer says...A minimum of 300 UCAS Tariff points
from at least 2 GCE A levels or AVCEs
including

GCE A level
Grade B

i did go to the open day, it was really nice and everything and the department is really nice and newly-refurbished but it is a really quite place. they said there were only 2 nightclubs in the whole town; if that gives you any sort of idea. the entire population is made up of like 80% students, it's not really my thing but all in all it's quite good, but too quite for me.
