York Physics Interview
Does anyone know how many people they call to interview compared with how many places are available? I'm not too worried about the interview itself because I expect it will just be similar to the one I had at Leeds, mainly general stuff with a little bit of academia thrown in?
Cheers,
Jack. -
Re: York Physics InterviewEveryone gets interviewed so they can sell the uni to you. If you have O'Grady just get on your knees and worship the guy as words are too simple for him(Original post by Jippet)

Re: York Physics Interview
What kind of academia? Erm, they usually discuss some basic physics (getting you to apply A-level sort of knowledge onto a more unusual situation for example)
or, if you meant what sort of academic? Could be almost any lecturer or professor for the interview itself, but from what I've seen the 'friendlier' academics tend to get more involved with these days. And then you'll meet lots of people throughout the day :-)
