    Entry points
I've sent off my UCAS application and have just noticed on track that three of my five choices have 'entry point: 0' and the other two have 'entry point: 1', I want to start them all at the normal time without a foundation year (I'd never even heard of a foundation year until ten minutes ago), what should I do?

If your referee hasn't sent it yet, get them to send it back to you so that you can amend it. If they have sent it, then ring UCAS up and ask them to amend your application. You may to able to do it with the options on track, but I am sure someone will confirm whether you definitely can or not.

My referee has sent it and I cannot find a way of altering it on track, I'll call up UCAS on Monday but I suspect I may have to contact the universities individually.

I've got this sorted out so I'll post the situation for the reference of others with the same problem as me, I phoned UCAS and they told me to contact the universities individually, I did and as the universities I'm applying for are Scottish (this is also the case for most English unis) they don't run foundation years so they automatically assume that entry point 0 means first year entry as well as entry point 1. Still to be safe it's best to put entry point 1.

On a related note I have received my first offer a mere seven days after sending my application: unconditional for University of Glasgow!
