Re: Is Brunel and Kent good for studying economics? It depends what your grades are(Original post by ineedtorevise127)
I will be applying for universities this coming September
Kent is better than Brunel though according to this:
http://www.thecompleteuniversityguid...gs?s=Economics
Kent is 23rd whilst Brunel is 51st.
I'd say Kent is decent, but Brunel isn't really -
Re: Is Brunel and Kent good for studying economics?
What are your grades? What other universities are you applying for?
Kent is a good university, and their Economics department is increasing in strength year on year. Brunel is pretty much unheard of but good for the grades they ask. It depends entirely on your grades. -
Re: Is Brunel and Kent good for studying economics?I'm pretty sure they ask for roughly the same grades.(Original post by .ACS.)

Re: Is Brunel and Kent good for studying economics?Wrong. Brunel asks for BBC whereas Kent ask for ABB.(Original post by AllisonAdorkable)
I'm pretty sure they ask for roughly the same grades.
So what I said still stands. Brunel is good for the grades required since hardly in English university accepts such low requirements for Economics these days, most of the universities that do are north of the border.
Kent however is a good university, is well known, and as such has average entry requirements.
