If 2 students applied for a position, both identical CVs, 1 had a degree from a brick Uni & one from the Open Uni... would you favour either & why?
The good thing about CVs/application forms are that they are never identical!
Ultimately if they were identical, both institutions would be looked at in the same light and therefore neither would be favoured.
