Hey just wondering has anyone from talybont south not bothered paying for a fine they were given. We were given a stupid £10 fine each for the door being propped open with a mop. I was out from 8:30 (when it wasn't there) until 5, so there was nothing to do. What will happen if I just refuse and don't pay the fine? Thanks

If you go down to taly court and argue your case, nicely they might let you off, if not they will chase you for the fine, its really not worth not paying. we got alot of fines last year, just remember after pre drinks to remove the mop. surely it was there when you left at 8?

Noo, I left at half 8 and there wasn't one in the door, cleaners tend to come 10 onwards so I assume someone put it there to either come back in or let someone in. Anyway I went down and asked and they said write a paragraph about why I wasn't there at the time and get everyone who was in to sign it. That seems like a lot of effort and I doubt the one who did it will sign it, so I think I'll just carry on ignoring them :P I told them to check the CCTV that's pretty much aiming at our front door if it really meant that much to them, but apparently not.
