UCL graduate living arrangements
I have just received a conditional offer from UCL
but have been told to find my own private accommodation and flatmates since UCL only offer rooms to undergraduates.
Does anyone have any advice they can give me about this, or even better someone in the same situation who may want to live with me? -
Re: UCL graduate living arrangements
I was in a similar situation. I'm doing postgrad at Kings College and I was told that I didn't stand much chance of getting a place in their halls based on the way they allocate the rooms.
The best advice I can give you is to go on accomodationforstudents.com, on there you can browse all kinds of student accommodation and they have a 'find housemates' page.
Hope that's of some help! -
Re: UCL graduate living arrangementsOk will do, thanks! Did you manage to find your accommodation quite easily? I.e. Am I over stressing about it? Not lived in London before so I'm a little bit nervous! lol(Original post by GingerBean)

Re: UCL graduate living arrangementsI was quite stressed too when I found out that I'd be unlikely to get a room in Kings halls, I've never lived in London before either so I didn't realise how much other accommodation is available.(Original post by Ae0n)

It was really straight forward in the end though. I made two trips to London to view places I'd liked the look of online, and then booked my favourite one through their website.
