How can I revise/learn the syllabus?
I'm doing a total of 5 exams in May-June.
Business(Not worried, I always get As or A* in the practice papers and its all multiple choice for this exam). For this exam I'll just have to read the textbook 1-2 weeks before.
RS Short Course - We're doing it on our own religion and its pretty straightforward, I've just got to memorize a couple of quotes.
Science (AQA Triple Science, Higher)- P1, C1 and B1. These bug me. I'm probably at an A/B in the subjects right now but I want the A* and I hate the constant memorisation.
How do you think I can learn the syllabus best? Some parts such as Red Shift and the Origin's of the Universe are interesting, while others such as Choosing Electrical Appliances are mind numbingly boring.
Add on to this that I'm doing the AQA New Spec(September 2011 Onwards), so while I can do the past papers, some topics aren't in the spec, others moved around, etc. So I'm saving the specimen papers till the end.
What is the best way for me to revise?
And What did you do?/Are you going to do?
Thanks

Re: How can I revise/learn the syllabus?
I got A/B's in my first lot of triple science tests (Doing OCR 21C), just try and make things interesting so you can remember them. In my next lot of tests in June (Trip Science, Additional Maths, English, a couple of French) all I am doing is being positive about them and try to make things interesting for myself.

Re: How can I revise/learn the syllabus?
I did the old spec AQA and used the CGP revision guides and workbooks really useful, I'm almost certain they will have made them for the new spec?
If you work your way through these then make a list of all the things you got wrong and then go over them before you do past papers then you will find that the past papers will help you pick up on odd bits and bobs you got wrong, rather than whole chunks of the syllabus you just hadnt learnt! Also I think even if there are any past papers for your spec you should be able to find specification papers on the AQA site which you can use?
