    Free Electives
Does QMUL offer a free elective as part of its courses? For example, if I took pure history, could I study a language as part of my degree?

There is an option to learn languages. Your department decides if it will let you count it as part of your degree. If not, you can study them alongside for a small fee.

Pure History has one elective in the first year if I remember right.
