FOOD AND DRINK: Daily Decadence, Yearly Yums!
Okay, the name of this thread might be a little misleading, as "Yearly" doesn't necessarily mean once a year, but rather just "very seldom" or "once in a while".
Essentially, I want you to tell me two foods or drinks you utterly adore. One of them has to be one you either do or COULD... consume every single day of your life. Until you die, you could eat or drink this on a daily basis. The second food or drink is something you equally think is the bee's knees-level of incredible, but for whatever reason, you can only consume very seldom!
I'll get us started with my own:
DAILY DECADENCE: Pepsi Max (Cans).
I cannot remember ever loving a drink so much as this... and as a Scot I'm ashamed to say it actually usurped my original favourite soft drink - the 'Bru - as my daily fix. For some reason, it always tastes best from a can for me.
YEARLY YUM: Battered Pizza Crunch Supper (Chip Shop).
Interestingly I don't have this often because of the obvious health dangers but rather because it's so greasy that afterwards I get the "chippy mouth coating" when you know what you've eaten is like 2098382 x your daily sat fat content and your throat would be insulated if you swallowed FIRE. At the time, it tastes incredible, and prior to it, you CRAVE it, but afterwards I'm like... "At LEAST a couple of months til ma next one. At LEAST."
How about you?
What's your...
DAILY DECADENCE, and what's your YEARLY YUM? -
Re: FOOD AND DRINK: Daily Decadence, Yearly Yums!
Pretty much every day I eat some crunchy peanut butter, just a spoonful or two by itself and I dunno why but it's dank. A real yearly thing would be at Christmas when my sister makes a vegan Christmas dinner, obviously Christmas dinner is yearly for everyone but for me it's the closest I get to Sunday roast, roast potatoes and vegetable gravy and cuts of (fake) meat and that, yes bruv

in terms of chocolate ..
daily, I do like a good Twix bar
yearly, the beautiful thing that is Hersheys. People may not necessarily like American chocolate, I've had some bad American chocolate which tasted like vomit.. but Hershys bars omfg they are beautiful. Only problem is its like £1.10 minimum for a tiny chocolate bar! I am slightly stingy with my money so Hershys is purely for when I really need cheering up or when I have a bit of extra cash! and the bars arn't big enough either

I have to have some form of chocolate in a day, usually just one truffle. I'll buy a box of thorntons and they'll last me a while - I like my little amount to be the good stuff

Something I crave but have more rarely would be Milkshakes or creamy frappucinos. -
Re: FOOD AND DRINK: Daily Decadence, Yearly Yums!
Daily would have to be a small bag of kettle chips, either salt and vinegar, sweet chilli or lightly salted. My dad 'liberates' them from airport lounges as he goes through about once a week, so I have a pretty constant supply.

Yearly - Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet. xD Not exactly a food, but I'm saying it anyway since I can't think of anything else. I went to my local one last week; it was delicious, but I don't think that I want to see it again for at least another 6 months. -

Daily is definitely porridge for me. Absolutely love the stuff with loads of different toppings.
Yearly - A no-holds-barred curry (haven't had one of these in ageess!). For me it would include poppadoms/bhajis to start, followed by a chicken tikka massala, boiled rice and a naan bread (love dipping it in the curry sauce as well!) - then possibly a nice dessert

Daily decadence: something like a Tesco chocolate mousse, those massive bottles of fizzy water or a bag of sour skittles in a lecture. Oh and popcorn. Gotta love popcorn.
Yearly yum - my mum's steak and kidney pudding, with brussell sprouts, peas and buttery mash. SO good. -
Re: FOOD AND DRINK: Daily Decadence, Yearly Yums!
Daily: CEREAL! I look forward to my pre-bed snack of cereal like an excited child. Or a sad weirdo. Whichever is more fitting. Seriously cereal never ceases to amaze me.
Yearly: Chinese takeaway. I'm not a massive fan of fast food on the whole but a greasy Chinese involving practically everything on the menu does gets me going. I only have it very occasionally simply because I always eat far too much and therefore can't stand the thought of it for a good while afterwards. Plus, it's so expensive these days. -
Re: FOOD AND DRINK: Daily Decadence, Yearly Yums!
Daily: Porridge and bananas. So comforting and I dream about the moment I get to wake up and eat it.
Yearly: Cheese. I really really like cheese..on pasta, in sandwiches etc. When it's melted and goooey. But for some reason I have a phobia of it at the same time. It's hard to describe but I'll only ever eat it on pizza which is hardly ever. Cheese for me is a 'guilty' food...Funnily enough though, chocolate isn't!
