How good is Heriott Watt for petroleum engineering?
I'm hoping to do my masters in petroleum engineering at Heriot Watt university. I am a student from Sri Lanka and holds a chemical engineering from Missouri State University. I currently haven't attended any internships. I got a Gpa of 4 out of 4 in my undergrad and a lot of extra curriculars (plus good presentation at interviews) ,I couldn't get an internship or job. All the interviewers who turned me down stated that they couldn't recruit me,because I didn't hold the US citizenship. Am i likely to secure internships and a job if I choose Heriot Watt University. Will international recruiters be willing to recruit me?

It'll be great if you can provide me a good answer, because it will influence my career decision.

I'm doing Electrical Engineering at Heriot-Watt and all I can say is HW is one of the best Scottish Universities for doing any type of engineering, there is also good graduate opportunities here and many people recommend HW as being the best uni in Edinburgh for engineering
