I figured we could do with a thread to discuss just the recent releases in cinemas.

This week I've got my eye on Wanderlust and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I don't think either will be amazing but I reckon they'll both be good fun.

Otherwise I'm quite looking forward to Bel Ami

    YAY reply!

I will keep this thread alive. That said, I thought Safe House looks terrible! I couldn't even follow the plot in the trailer.

I ended up not going the trailer put me off. At the moment I don't see anything of interest to go watch. Any suggestions?

I really need to see the Muppets.

The Muppets is a good feel-good film - all the songs are good, and it has quite a few laugh-out-loud moments. I saw Wanderlust today - it's pretty good, and again I found myself chortling a couple of times in the cinema, though the plot went in a kind of funny direction, I think.

I reckon The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel looks like it might be good - I'm going on Monday.

Otherwise if Chronicle is still in your local cinema, I highly recommend that.

I'm interested in seeing what John Carter is all about. I'm not sure if I'm interested enough to ge and see it at the cinema, although I've not been in a couple of weeks so I'll if I get a craving for it soon.

Considering going today. It's a toss up between We Bought a Zoo and 21 Jump Street.

I'm going to see The Hunger Games tomorrow to see what all the hype is about.

What did you think of it?
I went to see it a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. I come from India so it was a nice experience watching British people trying to live in the middle of utter chaos that is India. I loved the humour throughout, and Maggie Smith's character was brilliantly done. Made me laugh out loud a couple of times.

I want to go to the cinema this week but there's nothing on at the moment that interests me. I might go see Mirror Mirror, but I'm not sure.

    Hunger Games :yep:

The Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists
I'm a sucker for an Aardman animation.
