I didn't even have a sparkly one! It was given to me by a friend at the time, her parents split & she moved, so I got a card to remember her by :cool: And her parents were my introduction to the loveliness of lesbianism :biggrin:

I'm disappointed by you people. Pokemon was an important part of the 90s!

You're not missing much, but it's working. Not your day for technology, is it? :p:

"The penis: if it's not evil, why did they get H.R. Giger to design it?"
Yay for Pokémon! I started watching the entire series from episode 1 the other day in an effort to continue general procrastination. It's working surprisingly well

Medics are good at that too. Lets fill the insides of the pipettes with crap :awesome:

Let's not, shall we :colonhash: I had to throw tips at one of the medics to get him to stop doing horrible things with the pipettes ><

I never knew people could be so passionate about pipettes
I think my first Pokemon game was Crystal. I got stuck in the Union Cave for so long that the time I got out my Typhlosion was level 70. :lol:

I loved it so much I even bought the heart gold remake. I was so angry about the design of the new female protagonist. Y U NO HAVE BLUE HAIR? :sad:

I used to get out of bed and into the lab early so I could make sure I got the pipette that had all 12 channels working properly, instead of the one where channel 4 was permanently blocked. It worked great, until my lab partner started doing the same so he could have the good pipette. War ensued.
The place of sunshine and rainbows is nearly empty, as is usual these days. Why have you forsaken it? :'(

What the hell is that? :lolwut: When would a situation ever arise where that's a fitting response? :colondollar:

Hah! :biggrin: You summarily crushed him, though? :colone:

So much pokémon :awesome: Oh, my childhood. :parrot:

Meeee! :h: When was it you were going?

I guess there's all the touristy places; they're not so bad. Take a look around a few colleges if you want (tell them you're a prospective student if they try to charge you); I recommend Merton, obviously. Otherwise it's just quite a nice city to wander round in; get some ice-cream at G&D's too (the one next to Pembroke is the most convenient, probably).

SAME for my relationship. Don't really know what to do about it though <img src="images/smilies/s-smilie.gif" border="0" alt="" title=":s-smilie:" smilieid="18" class="inlineimg" />
<br />
<br />

It sucks. It's made all the worse because he seems to have more time for someone else than he does for me. This
someone else, and this is the worrying part, is a schoolboy he met through his last job. This boy has a lot of problems, and took a shine to my partner, and likewise. Now this boy has been staying at his flat regularly now. Yes, I know nothing will ever happen between them because the boy is just far far far too young, but I can't help feeling a little bit left out when all I get is an hour long meal without so much as a kiss.

The situation isn't helped by our living arrangements. Both my mother, and his flatmates are homophobic, not extremely so, but its there. He's supposed to be moving into a place of his own. I can't afford to on my wages. The situation should improve then, but I'm rapidly running out of patience, and I've told him so.

I've known him for years as he's a schoolfriend, and as we started the relationship I told him that I need affection, and I need to feel loved. I want that butterfly feeling in your stomach, I want my heart to melt, I want a big strong man to cuddle up to and feel safe with, but at the moment, I feel like a bit on the side :frown:

And the centipede emoticon originates from a time where we cold make smilies for members, in this case, The Centipe.

Next tuesday, so you won't be there! :h: I might visit again in termtime, though; who knows?

I have heard good things about G&D's, that's a potential destination. I suppose it will depend on the weather, so I'd better check that before getting carried away with planning >_>
