It’s nice to see you posting again to be honest
That must mean you have a
hell of a lot of work experience then, which can only be a good thing Cherry
Do you mind me asking how long you’ve been on jobseekers? It’s harder for our age group than any others because many of us lack the experience that jobs are looking for, which is just confounded by places on taking us on, so it’s like ‘How on EARTH are we meant to get experience, if we’re not given the chance? So yeah, I understand what you’re getting at :/
Depression wouldn’t have helped AT all Cherry :/ I guess feeling your way back into A Level’s wouldn’t the worst option? At least it’d be another avenue to meet new people? And on a basic level at first, you have an immediate shared interest in the subject you’re studying?
That’s just society for you :/ Surely they see it as strange because they must think you’d be a good girlfriend for someone and that’s why they were surprised? If they don’t want to hang out with then they’re not worth it and can’t be nice people?
The first thing that comes to mind some kind of youth club? Maybe try and get involved with one? You can’t really call yourself a failure at 20 can you? You attempted A Levels with some sort of depression. Some people don’t even attempt A Level’s? Well you’re guaranteed to meet new people with both of them
See, that’s the way forward. You’re planning ahead and you’re planning positively which is great
