(BA) Make Up and Prosthetics at LCF
Hiya, anyone else had an interview for this course? I got through the portfolio review to the interview on the 20th Feb. They said they'd take 3 weeks to get back to us and let us know, it was 3 weeks monday...
Just wondering if anybody else who had an interview has heard back yet? I'm literally checking my emails every 5 mins like a mad woman haha.. -
Re: (BA) Make Up and Prosthetics at LCF
Hey, I had an interview for the same course on the same day! (Although I didn't get through to the interview stage..!)
I had applied for three makeup courses at lcf and after not hearing the outcome from them for a while I contacted Lauren White the course administrator and she said that they are still making decisions and that everyone should know by 31st March...
However I did get an offer from my first choice course (FdA Hair and Makeup for Fashion) just this morning so I'd say contact lauren - she gave me feedback also.. Good luck sure you'll be fine x -
Re: (BA) Make Up and Prosthetics at LCFYou have 2 stages, portfolio review, so you leave your portfolios in the room and come back in like 2 hours. Then if you make it too interview you have it afterwards. Interview was fine, was about 15 mins if that. They asked about films you liked and disliked and why, had to talk a bit about a piece of work. I found them really nice. Make sure you don't have too much in your portfolio, they only want 25 sheets, and they said that they liked my artist research. Good luck! Feel free to ask any more qs xx(Original post by 04estkin)

Re: (BA) Make Up and Prosthetics at LCF
Hi I was just wondering just had my letter to say I have a interview for the 26th feb :-) I am a little stuck on the portfolio bit ? Not to sure what to include or how to lay it out :-( I've done a bit such as based some of my makeup ideas on people that inspire me such as audrey hepburn etc and done makeup ideas and sketches, and sketches of the clothes etc what else did you include and am I going in the right path? Also what information would you include such as research ?
And interview wise what sort of questions do they ask you ?
Sorry about all the questions

For starters Thank you! I am glad my portfolio was so well received.
Unfortunately I haven't heard anything from them yet, hope that I will hear something soon!
was not expecting it at all. Every other course has taken ages to hear back. You could always ring them up? Where else have you applied? x
