    Riding Club! Yay or Nay?
    Hi everyone!

Some of you may or may not know that KCL doesn't have a riding club (I know! Criminal right?). So I'd like to get an idea of how popular a riding club would be if it were to be arranged. Obviously, like any society or club we would have plenty of socials and epicness, but with the added opportunity to learn/carry on riding, depending on your level. It would be a club open to all levels, so from never having seen a horse, to experienced rider, all would be perfectly welcome. There may even be opportunities to volunteer, horseball and BUCS competitions when/if we get on our feet!

As for pricing, lessons would be between £20-25.

So would anyone be interested in this?

    Thanks for reading

The lack of one is shocking! That's a great idea- I'm surprised that there isn't even a University of London one.

I think Imperial have one and they train on Wednesday afternoons. Though I'm guessing from the absence of mass enthusiasm on the thread that it isn't an overly popular idea xD

A riding club sounds like a great idea but the price for the lessons just seems a little bit too high.

£20-25 is a pretty standard price tbh, especially for London which can be extremely expensive.

I'm thinking of applying to King's for 2013 entry but am being seriously put off by the lack of a riding club!! But I live in south London anyway so I guess I could just carry on riding where I do now..

I'd love to join a riding club, my only worry would be the lesson prices I think Imperial use the Trent Park stables which are zone 5, north London, so quite far. I guess anywhere more central is too expensive (like Hyde Park).

I'll be looking out for a riding club anyway!
