    Best en suite accomodation?
    Hey guys,

Im going to be applying for accomodation at hallam soon if i get my offer, and was wondering which accomodation you would recommend that has an en suite and is relatively close to city campus. Really looking forward to September :P

    Thanks in advance

Trigon is best (5-10 mins walk), but Pinnacles (while slightly further away, ~15-20 mins walk) is also good.

I realise Leadmill Point is the closest en-suite halls, being just 5 minutes away, but it is absolutely the worst halls and I would not recommend it!

Liberty House is also about 15 minutes walk, I am mentioning it because it is possible to get your own kitchen too, at a price roughly the same as the others.

(Probably average 90 quid a week for an en suite room for all the above)

If there is anything else you want to know feel free to message me! I am a second year student at Hallam.

Oh, and: I have never been to the Forge or Victoria Halls, so I can't really comment on how good they are.

Trigon is aparently the best. Charlotte Court is also alright and the Forge isn't too bad if you want really social halls and dont care about noise levels!

Trigon and Victoria Halls are the best tbh, and both are close... The forge is ok, but is further away from uni/town

It's nice to hear there are so many options.

Anyone else with any opinions? What would be your top 3 en suite accommodations and why?

    Bump

I'm thinking of putting my top 2 as 2 of these: Trigon, Victoria Halls and Opal 1. Which would you recommend for me to put as my top 2?

Have I missed any out that I should consider?

    Thanks

Pinnacles is far and away the best, imo, but Trigon and Victoria Halls are good too. Would stay away from Exchange and Forge if I were you, poor quality compared to those 3 and same price. Victoria Halls is the closest to Collegiate

pinnaccles is by far and away the best, and it isnt that far away from anything. People work walk extremely slow with these estimates. Its a 10 min walk away MAX from town center and uni. I got from The Pinnaccles to the main uni bit in 9 minutes at the open day. And i got lost

You'll not find ensuite halls near collegiate. Nearest will be the Forge. Then something in the city centre!

The Forge has a mice infestation.

Pinnalces, Trigon, Charlotte Court are superior to the others.

    Thought I would reply.

I am actually living at Victoria Halls in Sheff right now. For me, although we have had some stuff breaking down in our flat, it has to be the best value for money en-suite you can get. Also get a basic internet package. And, on the upside for 2012/2013 students, all flats are apparently going to be newly refurbished

The only way you'd get an En-suite in Liberty House is if you get the Double Room or the Self Containted Flats... The single flatlets only come with a kitchen. They're also not 15 minutes from the City Campus, it's possible to walk within 5-10 minutes if you know the right roads to walk down. Also the Pinnicles is just Under 10 mintues away, - My friend lives there and walks it every day

I am off to Shu in September and have been looking at the different halls.. I'm either thinking The Forge, Trigon (Although another £50 for internet is a burn), The Anvil or Charlotte Court.. Any advice would be good! Haha.

Look at The Pinnacles by Digs! Its so so so nice!!! I have friends there and they pay just as much as I do. I will say though, Leadmill Point should be a no no! I ended up here after not getting my first two options and although I arrived trying to be optimistic about the place, lets face it I new first place at uni is no London pad, it slowly gets you down.....

    This will save me time:
