    Casual/social smoking
I've been a casual/social smoker for the past couple of years and probably will be for the next four years or so. How harmful can this be to me? Not just in terms of lung cancer, but general fitness. When i say casual/social, i mean like a couple a week or something and it's nearly always with a joint.

Will i eventually be able to cleanse my lungs of the tar in like 10 years after i stop or something? I'm just really cautious of it. Recently, i just get tar on my lips and once on my mouth when i was doing a joint. Once i was burping out smoke a few minutes after i smoked and i've done shisha a few times and even inhaled it. The main reason i do it is because it stimulates joints. If i didn't do that, i probably would never really touch it.

So i'm asking, how much damage could around five years of casual/social smoking do? and could the damage be reversed?

No damage really, although if you're going to smoke, be prepared for the potential consequences. The weed is much worse for your lungs than cigarettes though.

I think it's 7 years to repair the lungs after you've quit smoking, new nerves start to grow after a few days as well although I could be wrong.

Are you sure weed is more harmful than tobacco? I keep hearing that tobacco is more harmful from people. Where did you get that from?

    Could it be fully recovered?

Weed is three times as bad but because the average person will smoke 10-20 cigarettes a day and probably one or two joints it won't do as much damage.

I've heard that Weed is more dangerous than tobacco. It is not healthy for your health.

I believe it is, for your body and mind, I think weed is unfairly targeted sometimes though. It's bad, and I don't smoke it, but alcohol is ten times worse and mostly goes uncriticised.
