You have good taste... I have that dress Mine came with a tan belt though, so I usually just wear it with tan ankle boots or black heels.

a belt to accessorise it a bit and then depends what you doing that day. flats for every day, heels if you going out. And since it's not summer just a yet - a jacket. Would be a crime to hide it under a jumper

A cropped black leather jacket and black opaque tights, probably around 80 dernier or so. I'd personally wear it with some kind of pumps, but you could easily do creepers or brogues if you prefer things like that. If you're wearing it out at night, I would say black high shoe-boots. Patent leather will look great, IMO.

Make up wise, I'd do winged black eyeliner and perfect skin, nude lips because the dress does a lot of talking.

Several people have suggested wearing black tights with this cute tartan dress. But surely you must know that it's not allowed to wear anything under a tartan skirt or dress. If you're not allowed to wear any pants then surely the same goes for tights, which anybody can see you are wearing.

Of course it's allowed and in fact the Scottish Tartans Authority suggest that it is childish and unhygienic to not wear underwear.

I wish I'd had a print out of that page with me the Christmas before last when a Scottish girl almost glassed me in a club for admitting I was wearing knickers under a tartan mini skirt. I took them off but she said I'd insulted Scotland (I should say my Dad is Scottish and I was born in Aberdeen so I'm allowed to wear tartan...)
