Re: Did Cambridge enter clearing in 2011?UCAS/ the university agencies do things like things the whole time...it was probably just a mistake from them...cambridge deliberately do not enter clearing at all (and they make more offers than they have places anyway)(Original post by JennyMorrison)
I know Cambridge says it never enters clearing, but I looked on UCAS and it gave a list of institutions with spaces available on the 'clearing' page of the website, and Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge was one of them. Can someone please explain? -

Also that would be a surprising listing because colleges aren't entered into UCAS separately, it should just be 'University of Cambridge'. So I'm fairly sure it was a mistake. In fact, I helped my sister look through Clearing vacancies last summer and I definitely would have noticed if Cambridge was listed, so its probably a recent mistake.

Re: Did Cambridge enter clearing in 2011?(a) This isn't Fitzwilliam College but Fitzwilliam House which is a building where Cambridge's admissions office lives.(Original post by JennyMorrison)

(b) This is a list of all universities in UCAS not those in clearing so Oxford is also in the list.
