What would be your ideal used car SPECIFICATION?
By that I mean list your :
    1. Make
    2. Model
    3. Engine size
    4. Age (Reg year)
    5. Mileage

I would preferably like you guys to only pick vehicles between 1L-1.2L, but if you want to add any other vehicles more or less than that, go ahead. Thanks, lets get this thread full and then I'll tally up the five most popular vehicles in a about a week or two.

Is this like.. our dream car? Or a realistic car? Most of us have cars at the minute so it's maybe a strange question to ask. Why would you prefer we stuck to 1.1-1.2L?

Hi, best answer is it might or might not be your dream car, can be your little run around or just a "car" you need. Call it whatever you want and if you already have a car, put it on here or put your future used car specification. To your last question, its because there are many students on here and it would be financially cheaper to run in the long run which includes fuel and insurance. However, as I said, if you want to put anything lower or higher than 1L-1.2L, then you are more than welcomed to.

Cars with smaller engines aren't always financially cheaper to run, though.

Re: What would be your ideal used car SPECIFICATION?
    Current:

    Make - Peugeot
    Model - 306 HDI Dturbo
    Engine Size - 2.0
    Age (Reg Year) - 1999
    Mileage - 126,000

    What I'd like:

    Make - VW
Model - Golf GT TDI 150/1.8 Turbo
    Engine Size - 1.9/1.8
    Age (Reg Year) - 2001-2004
    Mileage - Under 100,000

    What I'll probably get:
    Make - Skoda
    Model - Fabia vRS
Engine Size - 1.9 TDI (remapped)
    Age (Reg Year) - 2003
    Mileage - 76,000

Skoda is owned by my dad, previously owned by my uncle, so family owned from new. Probably a safer bet than some randomer's Golf

    I like diesels.
