INTO Exeter accommodation
Hello everyone,
I'm from Singapore and I'll be studying in INTO exeter this coming september. Just curious (and excited) to ask - does anyone know which halls are specifically for INTO students like me? Because I've noticed that students from the uni itself are given halls like Birk and Northfield and such. Just wondering for my first year in INTO, which accommodation will I most probably be getting?? Does anyone here have an idea? Any information provided will be much appreciated thank you (: -
Re: INTO Exeter accommodation
This website will give you plenty of information - http://www.intohigher.com/uk/en-gb/o...mmodation.aspx
As far as I'm aware, Duryard has just been renovated, so all of the rooms are nice and modern! -
Re: INTO Exeter accommodationIt doesn't say on the website that Duryard's for INTO students, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere else that it is.(Original post by engulfedx)
Hey thanks so much for the web link! Its been pretty useful I admit, but it doesn't state which halls are available for booking for specifically into students does it? ): but I heard you say durnyard? Hmm.. I'll go find out more about this hall then thanks!
Ooh, from Exeter's website:
"Duryard Halls of Residence
On the far edge of the Streatham Campus on the former Duryard site, 517 residential units have been built for INTO. Various types of room are spread across five blocks, with inter-connecting public spaces to create a community atmosphere. The residential development offers bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, shared kitchen, laundry and communal areas. There is also plenty of provision for bicycles. The first block was completed at the end of 2010, while the remainder were handed over in May 2011."
I think the best thing to do would to email either INTO or Exeter's Accommodation service and ask about applying if you haven't been specifically given any instructions.
