It represents everything that is wrong with humanity. If nuclear war broke out, the one positive I could draw from that fact is the cast of it would be wiped out.

It's pretty easy to watch and provides a few cheap laughs. Don't take it too seriously otherwise it'll just make you rage. -

However, I can understand why people watch it, I use to watch Jersey Shore- out of pure boredom more than anything else but I don't understand why people get obsessed with the talentless people on there.

"Oh, I was there last week"
"Oh, she went to my school"
"Oh, I saw them filming that"
"FARK. WHERES THE REMOTE?!" -

It promotes family and friendship however also demonstrates the evils of obsessing over the superficial, leading to excessive surgery and body mutilation, mental anguish, and a lack of depth.
It is also quite light-hearted and shouldn't be taken too seriously.
On a positive note, it has also apparently generated billions for the British economy through increased expenditure on cosmetic products and surgery, which some may see as a benefit given the economic climate. -

Re: What do you think of the TV Series 'The Only Way is ESSEX'?I watched it for two minutes, couldn't stand the people or how set up and staged the scenes were despite ot being labelled as a 'reality show' so switched it off and haven't watched it again. Its awful!

Re: What do you think of the TV Series 'The Only Way is ESSEX'?I watched a few episodes just so I could understand what all the hype was about but in all honesty, it is just tragic programming. I honestly can't believe people can be that stupid.
Some of them don't know where North London is...
Some of them think there are lions in Epping Forest...
Some of them think the capital of India is Pakistan...
Some of them think Ireland and Wales are the same country...
This is just the stuff I remember from the few episodes I watched, I'm pretty sure there is much more.
I'm just surprised that they can dress themselves in the morning.
