hey guys!

ive applied for child nursing 2012 entry. ive applied for edge hill,de montfort,sheff hallam, uclan and salford... ive heard back from all of them apart from edge hill? has anyone else not heard from them? or just me? do i give them a ring or not?

also i dont know anything bout the interviews what are the questions they ask? whts it like in the group interviews? anything helpful would be great!!!

Hello Yorkshirelass! (im from yorkshire too, woop!)

I've applied to edge hill, northumbria, york, huddersfield and teesside!

I had my interview for edge hill in december, and sent my ucas application off in october. when did you send your application off? If it was ages since you applied, i would give them a ring or email admissions to check

have you got/had interviews at the others then?

ah still havent heard from edge hil! and given them a ring and they said it would be here in 2 weeks and still nothing got my 1st interview tomorrow! but our school didnt send it off til december! :L

I havent heard from edge hill at all not even an acknoledgement letter and i sent my application off first week off november. i dont know what to do! do you know whether all the interviews have gone out?

hey charli, i dunno i still havent heard :/ i have like a little postcard from them saying they got my application but that is all that i have heard from them :/ really dont know what else to do dont want to call them up as they may think im nagging!!!

It took me like 3 month to hear back from Edge Hill, and even then they changed my interview time to a month and a half later! I gave them a ring and they were really helpful! Does any one know what the interviews are like for Salford? Mine's tomorrow, SO nervous, its my first interview and i dont know what to expect at all! x

Wow that's a long wait :0 i want to confirm m first choice uni but still waiting for insurance just incase! Good luck in your interview x

interviews 18 April?? want to cry, means we may not here from edge hill decisions until 10 may after all 4 rejections yet to hear from edge hill (( (had my interview 17 march) getting so worn out by the whole process, just want to get into uni and be a child nurse and make people better|!!!! xxxx

Hey, well I had applied to northampton, hull, coventry and worcester, december??!! thats a crazy long time. The only consolation is that we're all going through the same thing, sososo tough xxxx

Ive got offers from Northumbria and York and waiting on Edge Hill still... got rejected from Teesside and Huddersfield! Good luck hearing from Edge Hill xxx

Hey all

I applied for Brookes, Coventry, Birmingham City, Bedfordshire and Northampton.

I had interviews for them all and so far, unsuccessful from Brookes and Coventry. I have an unconditional for BCU and now waiting to hear from N.hamptom and Beds. I really want to go to northampton but my interview was in january and i have gotten to the point where i'm just gladf i have a place at BCU and am happy to go there.

I didn't realise this process would involve so much waiting and be so frustrating!!!

Ah thankyou! That makes it 28 April? I was sort of telling myself 3 weeks to the UCAS deadline, but hopefully it is a maximum of 10 days, I've had so many dates said by other uni's and then gone past it. So so nervous, really hope we get in!! 40 places for sept so much better chances. Good luck to everyone, we deserve it after how stressful it has been trying to get into child nursing xxxxxx

I rang admissions yesterday and they said they are processing the places and everyone would hear via UCAS by the end of next week.
