2 females looking for flat+flatmates near City University London 2012/13
    Preferences
    - Walking distance to City University
    - Single rooms for each - preferably furnished
    - From september 2012
    - I currently pay £170 weekly (including bills) to live in student halls, which I cannot afford to do for another year - so my budget is quite far below that.
    - My current student halls are probably able to provide a reference

Alright, time for a proper introduction:
My name is Eli [Eh-lee], I am a 22 year-old Norwegian and I am currently a 1st year psychology undergraduate at City University London. Next year I'll be starting the 2nd year, and I can no longer afford to live in student halls. Turns out that a good friend of mine from Norway will be studying literature at City starting this fall, so we are looking for a flat and flatmates together (a house is also fine).

So what am I like? I'd say I'm genuinely nice and somewhat nerdy with a good (debatable) sense of humour. I am neither a neat-freak nor a slob. I write nice post-it notes and always leave the kitchen in the condition it was before I used it. I like to knit, cook and go to to concerts. However, I spend most of my time studying. I can't speak for my friend, but I would say she is pretty awesome.

Both me and my friend are fluent in English, so do not hesitate to live with us just because we are Norwegian. I promise we will not use Norwegian as some kind of "secret inside language" at the exclusion of fellow flatmates.

I realize this forum is mostly used by postgraduates, but I hope it does not matter to you that we are both undergraduates. I would actually prefer to live with postgraduates, but it does not really matter. Also it does not matter which university or college you attend.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi,
Me and my friend have found a house for 2012/2013, we also go to City university and the house is a 15 minute walk away from the uni. I do radiotherapy and my friend does Sociology with psychology,we are currently first years. We are both girls. The house is 125 to 155pounds a week depending on room size, bills not included but are around 5 pounds a week. We have been told that the house has high demand so, if you are interested get back to us quickly please.

    Thanks!

Hey! I am Sarah, an 18 year-old German and I will study Journalism and Sociology at City University from September. I am VERY INTERESTED in sharing a flat with nice people (just like you seem to be ) as student halls are way too expensive!!! I would like to spend max. 130pounds on accommodation per week (but the less the better!). Contact me here if you are interested or add me on facebook (Sarah Remsky). I would be really glad if we could arrange something
