Dropping an AS after this year and picking a new one (physics) up?
I currently do Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology at AS level and I absolutely hate Psychology with a passion, it's boring and holds no interest for me whatsoever so I would love to drop it at the end of this year.
I doubt I will get a very good grade in Psychology AS (a C or below) but I just want to get something out of my year of work.
I have been thinking about picking up Physics as an AS next year so that I can have another AS, which I can hopefully enjoy more and get a better grade out of to study along with my A2s (Maths, Chemistry and Biology).
I am interested in a career in Optometry so I thought Physics would be a good choice although not exactly required but I'm also interested in careers in Chemistry.
The only major problem is that I only got a C in GCSE Physics, well I just about scraped a C I know that A levels aren't very similar to the GCSE courses but I was wondering if other people thought picking up AS physics (providing it fits in with my timetable in the first place) would be a wise choice or just a complete waste of time ?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! I also would love to know how other people got on with A level physics
