Uni choice - Kingston or Queen Mary?
Hi guys.
I applied to five University’s in London, and two of those were Kingston and Queen Mary. They are the two I wanted to go to the most, but now I don't know which one of the two to make a firm decision on!
I am going to be studying Politics and Business, and would like to know if anyone has any idea which University is best for the course?
I looked on the Guardian League Table and Queen Mary seems to rank higher in both overall score and careers after six months. Does anyone know if I should base this on my decision?
Also, I am from Manchester so will be moving up to London, so I don't know what student life will be like at either Uni’s. Could anybody give me any insight into which would be the best?
Any help would be appreciated! -
Re: Uni choice - Kingston or Queen Mary?Queen Mary has a much better reputation than Kingston, and is also much better located, being only a couple of miles from central London, whilst Kingston is right out in the sticks near Surrey. Have you visited either? I strongly suggest you do so. The actual location around Queen Mary isn't the best, although as I said its not far from Central London and its in a self enclosed campus. Really you need to base your decision on which course you prefer and what sort of vibe you got when you went to vist.(Original post by VincentWoods)
