Re: Physics Lancs working from home
You'll need to install at least two things. Firstly MikTex 2.9

This is so that when compiling the script is actually understands what you're doing.
Secondly you'll want an interface. The one which works best for me (and I am currently using!) is TexMaker:

For me, once I install both of these things, the quick build function worked without any fuss. -
Re: Physics Lancs working from homeIf you don't mind me asking, how did you get to work from home? PM me if it's easier.(Original post by Halfpint)
Hi
Can anyone tell me how to use tex Text Editor while working from home rather than on a Uniti PC?
Many thanks -
Re: Physics Lancs working from homeI think he just means doing the coursework assignment at home rather than on uni pcs. We need additional software that most pcs don't already have.(Original post by Airfairy)
