i had a sandwich from Smorgasbord once cos a friend insisted she wanted to go there (even though its mightily expensive)...now this sandwich had some kind of whitish sauce in it and it tastes alright to start with then the aftertaste hits you and man it was sooooooo vile seriously i was makin different faces after every bite but i was hungry so went through with it...and that aftertaste stayed with me for the whole day :s
I was invited to a barbecue at my friend's house when I was about 14. There was a hair in the burger and I only noticed when it was in my mouth so I had to pull it out, it is making me feel sick just thinking about it. I had to quickly wrap the burger in tissue and put it in my pocket, then go to the toilet and flush it down lol. I have a massive phobia of hair in food now, just the texture of it and it being in your mouth, makes me shiver, and it puts me off eating for days. I am probably over-reacting but I can't help it.
Rarely had anyone cook for me since then, apart from Christmas dinner one year when I reluctantly agreed to eat dinner, then the same thing happened again, this time with stuffing . That was the final straw for me I'm afraid.
I have not let anyone cook a meal for me now in about 4-5 years, I cook everything myself. Cutlery gets double-checked and wiped with tissue just to be safe.
Also when I was in primary school, I remember being very nervous in the canteen in my first few weeks, and didn't want to eat, so the dinner ladies would sit me down at the table until I was the last person in the canteen and force me to eat my food and tell me how I was wasting my parent's money. I hated that.

i was a fatty and re-defrosted [if that's a word?] mint ice cream and i was throwing up around 7 times a day for a whole week
it was my 16th birthday week as well!
when i was little my mates brother made us crumpets but he just came back from football practice and his hands were mucky and i felt rude saying anything and not eating it so i forced it down and still have bad memories and can't stand to look at a crumpet!
