Basically, I'm trying to decide between Dundee and Aberdeen. The one reason I might be leaning towards Dundee is due to it's reputation for life sciences. Although rep isn't everything, is Dundee that much better than Aberdeen or is it just a marginal difference that won't make much odds when it comes to securing jobs etc.? Also, does anyone know if you get much choice in the modules in life sciences? I know that Aberdeen is keen for 1st and 2nd years to take courses outwith their core subject, so just trying to see which I might prefer
    Thanks.

Hope your still wanting this answered haha. I do biomed in Dundee, and a school friend does the exact same course in Aberdeen. Dundee has a better rep for science (being the city of discovery and all). Aberdeen unis do try and get their first an second year student to pick up extra modules (I had 4 each semester, my friend had 6; heavy workload). Also Dundee universities accredit their life sciences degrees, as far as I know, neither Aberdeen uni does this. If you did go there, you would need to either do an extra year or uni or placement to get the accreditation after graduation. Hope this helps you
