    Studying History at MMU
    Hi All :-)

    I will be studying History at MMU starting in September 2012. Anyone else going be studying this,currently or has studied it?

    Whats it like? work load, tutors, time table etc.......

    aww aha I got to do mine this week, and mmu is like near the bottom of the league tables for history

    Woo! Aha, it doesn't really matter. As long as we get 1st at the end of it it doesn't matter
    Where you living? Also, goin to the induction lecture on the 17th?

    Ugh yes! How they expect us to be correct and present at that ungodly time after first weekend in Uni I will never understand!
    So nervous about sitting on my own aha!

    Neither do I, but then again that's why forums like this are created!
    I haven't done modern history since year 11 & I genuinely can't remember a thing... Germany rings a bell. Aha.
    I'm looking for a job! Sad face. Can you point me on the right direction?

    ooo I did a bit of modern history in AS level, then I did 1945-2004 at A2 lol guess that'll help me!
    oh yeah sure, when you like move into your accommodation make sure you have a few CV's then go to the city center and hand them out at retail stores etc Am going to do that in the first week or two at uni haha

    Most definitely! I did Ancient History at a-level so I don't know anything that happended past like 80AD aha! Bit useless I know...
    Yeah I updated my CV the other day - going to try get a bar Job because I have 2 years of bar experience and 1 year of Resturant Supervising, which hopefully will help
    Got anything planned for Freshers or you gonna roll with it? We shpuld go for a drink after the lecture on Monday :')

    you'll most likely get a bar job with your experience, I think I may apply for a waiting job *ponders*
