    Where is the "sig"?
    Didn't know where to post.

I feel left out when people reference info to their sig and I have no clue as to where I can find it.

    Feels like an uncomplete journey.

Attempts has taken me to "About me" but the info is never there.

It's short for signature. I believe you've even got a lovely mathematical limerick in yours.

    Did you mean this one?

The integral of dee squared dee tee,
from 1 to the cube root of three,
times half the cosine of 3 pi over nine
is the log of the sixth root of e!
It was hidden under the "blue arrow"...
By the way why my signature cannot be seen in a comment? Why a signature is hidden?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here - can you rephrase your question?

Of course, I can! on the right side of my comments there is a little blue arrow in which my signature is embedded. When I click to the blue one my signature can be seen. Why I must click to there to see my one?

Okay, I think I see what you're getting at. If you go to your Options page http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/prof...do=editoptions you'll see an option to "Folder Signatures" at the bottom of "Thread Display Options". If that's set to on, then you'll get signatures hidden within this drop-down area.

That setting only affects how you view others' sigs. Whether or not other members see sigs 'hidden' like this depends on their own settings, not yours.

That's true. I have just seen the effects of this setting. But it's not a problem for me. Thanks again!

Thank you, this is what I was looking for

I couldn't see the blue arrows at the bottom right hand side of each post before, so I had to tick the box to show sig.

I never found those options before, it's only settings that I could find.

    Thanks again.

EDIT: Oh wow, and you can tell if someone's posted above because on their subsequent posts, the blue arrow no longer shows.

:yep: That, or they just don't have a sig at all. The sig of a given member will only show at most once on a page.
