Please help me!!! the weak south
Hi, I have to write what is more important for the states that are located in the southren part of the world... it is clear that the human aspect will be last because there is no education no jobs etc... now what about the economics military or geopolitics? What is more important for them economics or military and why?
Also there are many ethno conflicts there and many time they invest more in military than the economics...

sorry I had to add that we are been asked about the states which have less development for the 21 century... their economics are weak, so no China or Singapur here...
That question was refered to a question where I wrote the aspects for strong country like USA so

    1. Human aspect
    2. economic aspect
    3. Military
    4. Geopolitics

So for the weak south the human aspect is 4 they don't have the rights skills for the 21 century

You could mention dependence on the West/NGOs for wealth and job stability, thus preventing nations in the south from 'breaking free'.

I'm not sure what you mean by "human aspect" - is that human rights, human capital or something else?

That notwithstanding, you could argue that the economic aspect would be no. 1 (you could mention dependence on the North, or go into World Systems Theory where the global South would be the periphery) - while there is little service-based economy and professional-level jobs, there are raw materials that the North needs. Geopolitics and military would probably vary depending on what countries you're talking about. For some, eg. central African countries, military might be more important, but for countries like Mozambique, being close to a relatively well-off country like South Africa and making use of this proximity would be a greater priority.

    I hope this helps!
