Custom Made Bras?
Hi
Have any of you guys had a bra custom made? Or know anyone whos had a custom made bra?
I got fitted at Bravissimo a while ago and came out as a 26G.. And 28 is the smallest size the UK does. I'm considering resorting to custom made bras. Although I have heard the big bra company are doing one bra style in my size, but at 32 pounds I'm wondering whether custom made would be cheaper. Plus I can't live off one bra can I
Thanks in advance -
Re: Custom Made Bras?
A lot of girls deal with weird and wonderful sizes, it can vary depending on the place you're looking at buying bra's from. I myself found that I was a comfy C in La Senza, however in Ann Summers and Asda I was a comfy D.
Custom made bra's are great, but like you said.. the price and living with just the ONE. Why don't you have a shop around and check out Marks & Spencers, Tesco, La Senza, Primark.. etc etc. You never know, you might find a comfortable backsize for you. -
Re: Custom Made Bras?
Maybe you could read reviews and shop around for 28 back sizes that run small? I found these in black and white ran a bit small, so you could try a 28 in that?
Or if that doesn't work, get the smallest 28 with a cup size that fits, and take in the back on each side, just either side of the clasp. Wont be perfect but it will probably work

Re: Custom Made Bras?
Hi,
I have been putting a business plan together that is aimed at the custom made bra market. We are looking to provide online custom made bras at retail prices.
How it would work would be: you would measure yourself and type in your measurements on our website, you could then pick a style, colour and/or pattern. We would then receive this and start processing your order. It should take no more that 4 weeks to receive your bra.
Would this idea appeal to you and say the general population?
You feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks. -
Re: Custom Made Bras?
Custommadebras, Why just Bra's? why don't you go for the whole vijazzle? Custommade knickers. Also, when considering this, you'll have to make sure that the product is quality rather than 'tacky' as I believe there may be a fine line between this in the market your aiming for. Look at the top end underwear companies such as victorias secret to get an idea of quality then try to implement this into your company. Something to add as well is that the victorias secret bras are made in exactly the same way as the Primark and any lower end bras, perhaps its about branding rather than quality.. anyways back to my business work cherio

Re: Custom Made Bras? There's a couple of companies out there making made to measure bra's that I found doing a quick Google. 'Made To' are in London and have a boutique there, and Fitelle who are based in the south of England and do a home visit service. If anyone's tried either of these (or any others) I'd be interested in feedback(Original post by fxyz)
