My friend is driving me insane :/
Well my friend Rob has been unemployed and living on benefits for the past 6 years now, he has no motivation or enthusiasm to get a job. I didn't mind him when he was first unemployed because he recently lost a job but he has no up and go and when you suggest jobs he just ignores you.
When he is sober he never talks and when he does talk he complains about how he hates his life and how nobody likes him and how he is still in love with a girl he likes. (for the past 8 years) even though she has no interest. This leads him to complaining he never gets pussy but when women actually talk to him, I end up doing all the talking as he loses his balls and doesn't know what to say.
When he is drunk he is a nightmare. He gets recklessly drunk. (sometimes I think he fakes it). He pesters women to the fact they wanna get the police, he gropes women also. He starts on everybody and he gets very paranoid about nobody liking him (especially if people look in his direction). He even attacked me before and pushed me onto a road while a car was coming. Well in truthfulness he hit me in the back of the head because I told him to sort his life out and that I didn't wanna drink any more, I hit him back and he stood there like a lemon and as I walked off he pushed me onto the road. He didn't even apolegise but just asked me the day after what I was upto and if I wanted to go for a drink. His life revolves around driving and when hes not driving, drinking.
All my friends have fallen out with him so I'm technically his only friend but I can't find the heart to push him away also. Any advice? I've tried everything from telling him hes a dick when hes drunk and he ignores everything. -
Re: My friend is driving me insane :/Don't you think his parents have tried? Everybody has.(Original post by repoman)
Maybe you should tell him to stop spending benefits money on drink, that might be a good start
@Chinaberry
He's been like this since I've known him, thats why his g/f broke up with him because of drinks and when he was drunk he went to her house and stalked her.
