TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along!
Hey people,
Following the success of the TSR Ski Trip (where we took over 50 TSR members to Alpe D'Huez for a week), we're pretty excited to shout out about Beach Break live, and that TSR will be getting involved!
We'll be there in sunny South Wales and are looking to set up camp with any TSR members that fancy coming along too.
Not got anyone to go with? Don't worry about it... Loads of people on the Ski trip didn't have anyone to Ski or Snowboard with, but everyone had a wicked time. Here's another chance to do the same, in South Wales for 4 days and 4 nights from the 14th June.
Fancy going? You can book your tickets here and use this thread for all the build up and to find out who else is going.

Awesome. I'm really looking forward to this, the ski trip was a great success and it was great to meet everyone so hopefully we can do the same at BBL. Maybe get another use out of my flying squirrel costume
Spoiler:ShowFor anyone that's on Twitter we're also going to try and get BBL trending at 8pm. The hashtag is #BBL2012 so if you want to get involved tweet something like 'Can't wait for #BBL2012! 50 days to go' -

Re: TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along! Not a clue, but a quick question to anyone whose been before. How strict are they on alcohol limits? If it's all in plastics do they mind, because one crate OR 70cl spirit for the whole weekend just seems very little and I don't fancy spending a bomb there on overpriced drinks..?(Original post by K)

Re: TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along! We were there last year as sponsors so didn't use the normal entry points. I think that they're fairly strict on it but couldn't say for sure.(Original post by x Danny)

Re: TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along! Is it the same case this year? If so, do those of us who have got tickets from TSR get to get in this way or do we have to queue with the rest of the festival-goers?(Original post by K)

Ahhh. Not to sound like an alcoholic or that i need beer to have a good time but a crate for a whole weekend just seems a little small, just don't fancy paying over the odds for beer either. Although it says a cheap bar on site, how cheap exactly do you know?(Original post by K)

Re: TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along!Afraid not, as TSR staff we need early access to get the info tent setup. You'll have to queue but I don't think it will take too long.(Original post by Gofre)

I'm not sure exactly how cheap but it's a student festival so I would think it would be pretty well catered to students. Best to check with BBL for specifics.(Original post by x Danny)

Re: TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along! It's weird, if I go direct to their site, their FAQ section says £2 for a can of beer or cider (http://www.beachbreaklive.com/en-uk/content/view/73/206)(Original post by x Danny)

But if you google 'beach break drinks' you end up on a different FAQ page that looks similar, but mentions £3 per pint: http://www.beachbreaklive.com/en-uk/content/view/15/50
So I guess those are the prices, until the price of a pint has changed recently... -
Re: TSR does Beach Break live 2012 - Come along! The FAQ that says £2 is the one linked directly on the 2012 site, so I'm guessing the £3 one you found on google is an old link? I did think £2 was too good to be true though, so it may well be £3... we'll soon find out(Original post by CJ)

The £3 one is 2011, near the bottom is says Breach Break 2011, but it does say a pint for £3. This years says cans and bottled for £2, so cheaper yes but not as much?(Original post by Sazzy890)
