Friend really down :(
Hey-
I have a friend who's been really down this week, and I don't know what I can do to help. He's in a bit of a situation- unemployment and such and I know he's unhappy with his life, but he's usually quite chipper and jolly... unnerving to see him in a bad mood for so long.
Also the fact he lives about 200 mile away so it's not like I can just pop round to cheer him up :/ Any tips on how to cheer my pal up? -

Hey
Thanks for the advice lol, sorry I haven't got back to you before, I rarely come on here! I decided I was too worried to just leave him so I phoned in sick for work for the week and used my money for that week to go visit him
THANKFULLY this cheered him up a lot, he just needed a friend I think :P And I promised to adopt him a white tiger for his birthday xD Bribing friends into happiness- terrible, eh? :P

Re: Friend really down :(That's so nice of you. That definitely would have cheered me up, which I need right now!(Original post by Jake200493)

I get like that with friends. I'd do so much for so many of them. & a phonecall or a text or the smallest bit of effort to let someone know you're thinking about them when they're seemingly in complete darkness can be the most uplifting thing. So a surprise visit, wow.
Is he okay now? -
Re: Friend really down :(Yeah he's much jollier now thankfully xD And yeah, I'd pretty much do anything for my best mates(Original post by xcesciee)

It's really irritating though because some of my old friends seem to have forgot this little detail when it suited them!
