sudden blotchy skin on face.At about 6pm, someone noticed that i had red blotches on my face. I dunno how long theyd been there - but still are. On one cheek it's in round shapes over a couple of cm squared but on the other there is a single blob of a few mm. This blob is red on the outside but my normal skin colour on the inside, this is the same for the bigger blotches on the other cheek.
What could it be? They feel a bit dry/rough to touch but arent sore or itchy etc. Im 18 and havent suffered from acne before and dont have particularly sensitive skin. It just happened that i was round the house of a nurse this evening. She didnt know what it was but suggested moisturising it.
Has anyone had this kinda thing come on so suddenly? It wasnt a reaction to any food or animals BTW.
