    Hello
I am a Ugandan who carries a Bachelors Degree in Business Computing and i just graduated recently in December 2011, i was looking forward to applying for an Msc In Actuarial Science but did not know the requirements needed i.e The amount an Msc would cost and the general upkeep as a foreign student. Furthermore i would like to inquire if it is possible to study and work at the same time. Thank You.

Well it's possible to work and study at the same time that's for sure. You'll have to manage your workload tho.
Living costs will depend on if you live in london or not and your lifestyle. As for the cost of a degree it depends on universities for international students. Some have grants some don't etc.

    Good luck.

    Re: Hello
It would be almost impossible to acurately tell you how much it will cost you. The university website should tell you how much the fees for the course will be. For living, it could be £5k or £10k, depending on where in the country and the lifestyle you lead.

As an international student I believe there are strict rules and limits in place on your visa as to how many hours you can work. It's something in the region of 10-15 hours a week. This would not be enough to fund your living costs.

as per what the last 2 posts said it depends where you study for the price of tuition, itll tell you if you go on the university website though. as for general upkeep costs again it depends where you go with london and the south generallybeing a lot more expensive than up north, from what ive heard (could be wrong] and with svecific regards to london youll need something like 12k a year to get by as im uncertain if youll be able to find university housing being a postgrad, but again could be wrong and it depends where you intend to study. id definitely try and come with a fair bit in savings though as working is rather dicey given visa conditions and the job climate.
and finally with regards to working it depends on your visa specifications, i assume youll only be on a student one which will limit the hours you can work.
