    Psychosexual problems
Hi please keep anon this is quite a complex issue.

Just to start off with I am male and gay, all my sexual relationships have sort of failed and I have felt nervous in all of them and never relaxed, I struggle to masturbate and just associate anything sexual with being uptight and I really find it hard to relax. I have physical ejaculation problems that can't really be solved and have been on medication to no effect.... I feel like I won't ever satisfy myself sexually or anyone else and so will never been in a proper relationship, my sex drive at the moment is really low and it's bringing me down. Any advice? Should I vist my GP - I was wondering whetehr anyone knows if sexual counselling in a case like this would be available? I am just so unhappy right now.

Hey, im a girl but sounds very similar to something i have. I cant relax doing anything sexual, i know i will never satisfy anyone, i have a low sex drive, performance problems etc etc.

I saw my GP about it and she has put me on the waiting list for a sex counsellor. Its going to be months until i get seen....

I would suggest you go and be firm say you want to see a counsellor, because if its getting you down you need to get ir sorted.

im really depressed about my lack of sex life- i just want to enjoy what everyone else is- but stupidly i cant

You could also skip the GP (although they will have lots on your general physical and mental health) and go to a sexual health clinic about this.

aww im sorry to hear i hope you can get something sorted. If not, are you at Uni?

My GP told me that uni counsellers all specialise in different things, and there are in fact some that can discuss sexual health problems too!

    Go and enquire about this
