Deactivate your accounts until your exams are over?

You can block sites on the Tools bar.

Deactivate your accounts and block the sites. I did both and then just reactivated them after exams.

    I wish I knew.
I deactivated my Facebook for a grand total of ten hours.
And just spent the time using Twitter instead.

I will ALWAYS find SOME WAY of procrastinating!

    http://visitsteve.com/made/selfcontrol/ or equivalent
    What he said.

If you google 'block distracting site' there's a bunch of add-ons and programs that can block stuff. Self-control didn't really work for me, but 'StayFocusd' is a nice little Chrome add-on that does the trick. There's a similar one for Firefox as well.

Become addicted to cigarettes, and every time you want to go on a social networking site, have a cigarette, then update your status.

Don't bother deactivating because it's way too easy to re-activate. Get a trusted friend to change your passwords for you and tell them not to you let you until after the exams.

make sure it is a TRUSTED friend, my best friend managed to convince everyone I was pregnant by posting an ultrascan picture on my facebook and twitter, I had so many confused phonecalls during my revision sessons
